Other reporting methods

We prefer internal handling through secure reporting channels, but recognize that in some cases reporting to competent authorities may be warranted.

Disclosure should be carefully considered because it may offer less protection against retaliation. This should be used only as a last resort, when internal and external reporting channels fail or do not provide adequate protection, or when there is imminent danger to the public interest.
