Suction mouth
The suction mouth of a dredger, often in combination with a cutting head, sucks up the loosened material (silt, sand, clay) from the water bottom. The suction mouth is the inlet of the hydraulic dredging system.
These castings are made of wear-resistant material because they are used in highly abrasive environments. We make these in 2 material types, cast iron (Alladur600) and cast steel (TGS7H).
